Various bar associations, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations host legal clinics for the public. Legal clinics allow you to speak with an attorney who can help answer your legal questions or offer legal advice on how to resolve a legal issue.
These clinics often do not require an appointment. Most clinics are free, but some may have a small fee to attend. Nearly all legal clinics have income qualifications, and some clinics only cover certain legal topics (e.g., wills, family law) or are only open to certain populations (veterans, the homeless, etc.).
