Legal Clinics

This guide provides a listing of legal clinics offered by various bar associations and legal aid groups in Texas.

Legal Clinics

Note Many legal clinics are being held remotely or are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please see the clinic's website for current information.

Various bar associations, non-profit organizations, and other advocacy organizations host legal clinics that are open to the public. Legal clinics usually do not require an appointment and allow you to speak with an attorney who could help answer your legal questions or offer legal advice on how you might be able to resolve a legal issue.

Most clinics are free, but some may have a small fee to attend. Nearly all legal clinics have income qualifications, and some clinics only cover certain legal topics (e.g., wills, family law) or are only open to certain populations (veterans, the homeless, etc.). There may also be language interpreters present. Please read the descriptions for more information and contact the organization hosting the clinic for more details.

Please note that this map is not comprehensive. Some clinics may rotate locations, and these clinics may not have a permanent address represented on the map. For a full list of clinics in your area, please review the boxes for your specific region below.
