Elder Law is a unique field of law because it intersects with so many other areas of law, such as family law, health care law, estate planning, and consumer protection. While we have already created other guides on many of these topics, few of them were devoted solely to the aspects of the law that concern older Texans.
We have created this guide with the intention of providing senior Texans with the information they need to understand and enforce their legal rights.
Because Texas and federal law may not be easy to understand, below you'll find a collection of resources that help to explain the law in simple terms.
These e-books contain information on elder law. These e-books can be viewed by those who have signed up for a free library account with the State Law Library. Only Texas residents are eligible to sign up. Signing up is free.
