Out-of-State Protective Orders

If you have moved to Texas recently, the protective order you set up in another state will be valid and enforceable in Texas.

Section 88.004 of the Texas Family Code
This statue details how, in the event that an individual relocates to Texas and has a valid protective order issued from a court in different state, that PO is still enforceable.
